Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union is certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

CDFIs are banks and credit unions with a history of creating opportunities and access to financial services while providing capital in low-income, disadvantaged communities. Obtaining CDFI certification is the latest step in County Federal’s ongoing commitment to meet the needs of underserved communities. 

CDFI certification allows County Federal to apply for grants from the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, which will enable County Federal to further our Core Purpose of “Bettering Lives; Enriching Communities” in areas with limited or no access to financial services.
